Koʻpincha ilohiy mavjudot sifatida hurmatga eʼzozlanib, Horus bilan juda koʻp umumiyliklarga ega, masalan, Asfinisning xoʻjayini Horus-Xemen<ref>[http://www.griffith.ox.ac.uk/gri/8ste201to250.pdf The Griffiths Institute]</ref> yoki Xefatdagi Horus-ahti-Hemen<ref>{{Veb manbasi|url=http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/texts/hornefer.htm|sarlavha=Text of Hor-nefer|kirish sanasi=2012-06-05|arxivurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120303005124/http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/texts/hornefer.htm|arxivsana=2012-03-03}}</ref><ref>[http://www.griffith.ox.ac.uk/gri/8_ste001to050.pdf The Griffiths Institute] formerly in V. == Hemen haqida qaydlar ==
Qadimgi yozuvlarda Xemen nomi kamdan-kam uchraydi. Quyida ushbu yozuvlardan baʼzilari keltirilgan:

* Yuqori Misrning III septa (nome) nomarxi Anhtifi, flotni oshkora tekshirish paytida, Xefat shahridagi begemotlarni bayramlarda Xemenga nazr qilish uchun oʻldiradi<ref>J.M.A. Janssen, Annual Egyptological bibliography, 1947</ref>.
* XIII sulola davrida yaratilgan dumaloq tepali stelada Ptah-Sokar-Osiris va Horus-Xemenga, Lord Asfinisga murojaat oʻyib yozilgan. Ilgari stela V. S. Golenishchev kolleksiyasida edi, hozir u Moskvada A. S. Pushkin muzeyida<ref>[http://www.griffith.ox.ac.uk/gri/8ste201to250.pdf Griffith Institute working document on Stela, page 208.] retrieved 20/09/2011</ref>.
* XVII-asr oxiri va XIX-asr boshidagi sulola davrida yashagan haykaltarosh Userxat „haykallarga sigʻinishni oʻz qabrlarida dam olishga undovchi“ sifatida tilga olinadi. Xefatlik Xemen Userxat sigʻinadigan xudolar orasida edi<ref>Elizabeth Frood, John Baines, Biographical texts from Ramessid Egypt, 2007</ref>.
* Amenxotep III davrida yaratilgan Xemenning taniqli haykali; hozir u Fransiyada, Avignon shahrida joylashgan Kalvet muzeyida[http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musée_Calvet]<ref>location(listed 14th on page)[https://web.archive.org/web/20000925033638/http://malfine.tripod.com/jmbooks.html Statues of Deities), Oxford: Griffith Institute, 1999, ISBN 0-900416-69-6] retrieved 20/09/2011</ref><ref name="autogenerated1">[http://www.griffith.ox.ac.uk/gri/3pm8sta5.pdf (with D. Description of statue from page 1041 of Griffiths Institute of Oxford retrieved 20/09/2011</ref>.
* XXII sulola davrida Hefatdan Hemen kohin vazifasini bajaradi. Xemen haykali oldida Ikeni ismli bir kishi paydo boʻlib, "Ikeni haq! U toʻladi! " va boshqa gaplarni aytadi<ref>Kim Ryholt, A Pair of Oracle Petitions Addressed to Horus-of-the-Camp, The Journal of Egyptian Archaeology, Vol. 79 (1993), pp. 189—198</ref>.
* Miloddan avvalgi 300-yilda Xemenga sigʻinish hali ham urfda edi, buni Hornefer nomining rasmiy imzosi tasdiqlaydi.
* Grifit institutida[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griffith_Institute] goʻyoki lochin boshi bilan Hemen tasvirlangan yozuvli tosh bor; yozuvda shunday deyilgan: „[[Amenxotep III|Amenxotep III,]] Xemenning suyuklisi, Heb-sed bayramining sohibi“<ref name="autogenerated1" />.
